Random musings from the asshole perspective
My life is like a vagina. It’s usually warm and pleasant, but periodically it’s a bloody mess.
Vegan Ranch Dip
Yup, you heard that right. I can make it and its pretty fucking easy, so you should at least give it a whirl and see what you think of the dip.
1 cup cashews, soaked in water for at least 2 hours, and drained 1 cup water 4 ounces extra firm tofu 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 2teaspoon agave 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoon onion powder 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon vegetable broth powder 23teaspoons...

Saw a homeless person with *2* shopping carts. Some people are just so materialistic.
Potato Pierogi's with onions
Not so quick but definitely easy for anyone to make. Not quire entree and almost an appetizer, Potato Pierogi are an extremely inexpensive and tasty food that always quenches my hunger.
For the onions mixture get 2 large white/vidalia onions chopped fine and add it to a large sautee pan. (Though it may seem like an unnecessary large amount of onions, the filling will shrink considerably) Add oil...

Avocado Potato Salad
Obviously being vegan milk/dairy is out of the question so potato salads are a little tricky unless you go out of your way to pick up veganaise which in my city is a 45 min drive for me. In this instance avocados are used to get the creamy consistency going and the flavor turned out outstanding.
2 lbs small potatoes, cut into small inch chunks 2 avocados 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 1 tsp salt...

2011 Cannes (Silent “S”)film festival has just wrapped this morning, with Robert DeNiro as head Juror amongst a jury which Included Uma Thurman, Jude Law and Olivier Assayas whose previous work includes last years stellar 5 hour epic, Carlos. Apart from the typical boo’s the French love to bestow to films at Cannes, the ridiculously anticipated Terrence Malick film The Tree of...
Twitter reasoning:
I love #ff Fridays on twitter, it’s like a big alcohol and drug induced awards ceremony.

I know i’m broke when I find myself putting crushed up Xanax around the rim of my margarita glass instead of salt.

We elected George W. Bush twice, made Snooki a millionaire, and invented the word “frienemy.” We deserve the Rapture.
Another day gone
Another day gone and ready for the next to impulsively pull me in wrong directions. What is in store for me tomorrow I do not know other than having to work in the field and finish a few more films before the long labor intrusive process of working the bookmarking sites back-end and earning some cash to continue in a life style I see fit that does not include joining a monastery.
FYI: The...

Just took my kids to the holocaust museum gift shop. Jessica got an easy-bake oven, Joe got a train set. Next Stop: 9-11 museum for a Jenga Set !
Dinner Time!
Once again the obvious must be taken into effect and ths mini post will regard tonights dinner selection. It was by sheer boredom and available food that this concoction was done and though it is obviously vegan, its also undeniably good and dead simple.
Garlic / bread crumb pasta
1 Lb of Angel Hair pasata ( or any type of long noodle you choose)
Place the pound of pasta in salted water till...

M.A.D Challenge Day 11: Walkout
The HBO film tells the ‘true to life’ story of a group of underprivileged Mexican American students who after constant discrimination and racism in their city and schools take to the books and learn of their heritage, and upon doing so decide to stand up to their authority figures. The students led by their Latino take to their fellow neighboring schools and organize mass walkouts...

M.A.D Challenge Day 10: The Exorcist
Today’s film in the Movie a Day Challenge brings William Friedkin’s classic film The Exorcist to the small screen. The film is in its own right a technical and performance marvel in horror cinema though plays more as a familial drama through my perspective showcasing a family torn through parental separation and its affect on its members, most notably that of the wife,played...

M.A.D Challenge Day 9: Dinner For Schmucks
In one of the worst films I have seen this year if I had seen it but a week earlier would have most deservedly made my top 10 worst of listing. The film stars the wonderfully talented Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell as the titular Schmuck who is Rudd’s pet for the night at a company party to ridicule the idiotic.
M.A.D Challenge Day 8 : Sideways
Problems yesterday with the Tumble app so the post is coming in late but for the day of January the 8th today’s Movie a Day Challenge brings Alexander Payne’s hysterical dramedy Sideways to the small screen. The film follows the story of Miles and Jack two best friends who on the eve of Jack’s wedding take a bachelor party trip to the Napa Valley for wine tasting good time but...
M.A.D Challenge Day 7: Re-Animator (1985)
Today’s Movie A Day Challenge brings the iconic Stuart Gordon horror comedy Re-Animator to the small screen in a big way with the grand-daddy of sexual acts: The decapitated head going down on the naked Barbara Crampton. Re-Animator tells the story of Herbert West a rogue medical student whose brilliant mind deciphers a way to re-animate dead tissue and thus bringing the dead back to life,...
